Health and Wellness expert Sonia Jhas is on a mission to help you live your best life. After walking away from a skyrocketing corporate career, she changed directions and launched her own brand in order to inspire, educate and motivate her clients and fans around the world.

After building a staggering social media following of over 250,000 fans globally, it became clear that the public wanted Sonia’s tips, techniques, motivation, and encouragement. After seeing people’s lives change as they found new ways to take control of their health, she embarked on a successful speaker’s series which has included clients such as Telus Mobility, Trillium Health Centre and Deloitte, as well as many other community and corporate organizations.

Accolades quickly followed including the “Game Changer Award in Health and Wellness” by Pink Attitude Evolution and a Notable Award for “Best in Sports and Fitness”. Dubbed as one of Canada’s leading voices in health and wellness, Sonia has become a media darling offering her expertise and humour as a regular face on national shows such as Breakfast Television, Cityline, Sirius XM, Global Morning and many others.

As a writer, Sonia has been featured in over 75 publications including Huffington Post, GLOW Magazine, FLARE Magazine and as an influencer, she has collaborated with brands such as Sketchers, Fitbit, Nike, Jamieson Vitamins and Best Buy. Sonia also graced the covers of national magazine, Optimyze and On The Go – Toronto’s most-read commuter magazine.

Proving herself to be an unstoppable force in health and wellness, Sonia has become a voice in the quest to be your happiest, healthiest self and is penning her first book due in 2019.




Rasheda Nawaz holds a Masters degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of Toronto. She worked for the public service with all three levels of government in Canada and internationally as an urban planner, policy analyst and a sustainable development practitioner. She has been involved with a variety of community organizations since 1982. Rasheda ran for Member of Parliament in 2015 in the riding of Nepean. She was named as one of the trailblazers in the publication “Women on the Ballot” which includes compelling stories, insights and advice from more than 90 Canadian women with diverse backgrounds across all levels of politics and party lines.




Priya Bhaloo is Vice President of TAG HR and Chief Operating Officer of Sterling Global Management. Priya is also the President of the Ottawa Chapter of the Association of Canadian Search, Employment and Staffing Services (ACSESS) and an active member of the National Association of Canadian Consulting Businesses (NACCB). In 2018, she was elected as part of the newly formed Ottawa Board of Trade interim board as a Director to help with the transition from three business chambers to one consolidated voice of business in Ottawa. Priya also holds a seat on the Temporary Help Advisory Committee with the Federal Government’s procurement branch and has played an active in helping the federal government develop procurement strategies to change the way they do business. Priya has also served as a member of the Women’s Business Network’s executive for 3 years and currently volunteers with the executive in an advisory capacity. In 2018, Priya was recognized as a recipient of the city’s esteemed Forty Under 40 award.

After graduating from the University of Ottawa in 2003 with a Bachelors of Commerce with a major in Finance and minor in Management Information Systems, Priya joined The Associates Group as an HR assistant. Priya learned about every facet of the business over the next nine years and was named Vice President of the consulting firm in 2013. The Associates Group, now known as TAG HR, is a leading provider of workforce solutions to both public and private sector clients across Canada. Helping clients build strong and successful teams that ensure top results, TAG HR specializes in Information Technology and Professional Consulting.

Priya also started Sterling Global Management (SGM) in 2011, a full-service firm that offers bid response and consulting services to multiple industries. SGM offers training, courses, and proposal coordination services to clients allowing them to achieve results required to remain competitive in today’s market. Both SGM and TAG HR’s critical success factors have always been: nurturing and cultivating relationships with its clients. Their corporate mantra is that customer services exceed all else. Priya Bhaloo was born and raised in Ottawa and continues to call the nation’s capital her home along with her husband and two children.



Sarina Jain is coined as the “Indian Jane Fonda,” as she is the pioneer in bringing Indian dance to the US Fitness at a global level. Recognized as a global game changer, she successfully moves, touches and inspires people around the world with her knowledge and passion for Bhangra and Bollywood. Ajit Tiwana is originally from Punjab, India. She moved to Canada in 1980 and lived in Vancouver, BC until she joined the RCMP in 1987, making her the first South Asian female to join the RCMP. She is fluently quadrilingual in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu and maintains strong ties to the South Asian Community.

After completing her Training in Regina she was posted to Air India Investigation in Toronto with the National Security Section. Where she also gained experience working in the Toronto Drug Section.

In July 1996, Ajit Tiwana was posted to, Burnaby, British Columbia, where she worked as a front line general duty officer performing regular duties and media liaison officer, and as a community liaison officer.

In 2001, Ajit Tiwana was once again transferred to Toronto investigating the incident of 9/11 and subsequently, she joined the National Security team of Integrated National Security Enforcement

In 2003, she was asked to join the Criminal Intelligence Section working on Organized Crime.

In 2004, brought Ajit Tiwana new challenges when she joined Head Quarters Ottawa where she was instrumental in writing Bias-Free Policing Policy. She participated in the Commissioner’s Advisory Committee on Visible Minorities.

In 2006 she was tasked to head a project of hiring officers from designated groups. She successfully implementing the project by bringing in many employees from diverse cultures.

In 2011 As a Program Manager, Ajit was tasked with developing Legislation on Honour Killings/Early and Forced Marriage in partnership with the Department of Justice. She developed the RCMP Policy and Training on early and Forced Marriage. Ajit has since trained over 2000 police officers across Canada. Ajit has since served on various inter-departmental groups and committees and NGO’s professionally and as a volunteer.

In 2016 Ajit was assigned to Cambodia to serve with the UN as an Investigator on Genocide Investigations. She has recently returned from her Mission in Cambodia.

Ajit Tiwana has been honoured with several awards, including the Police Officer of the Year Award. Ottawa Mayor’s award, Ontario Premier’s award, RCMP Commissioners Award for her outstanding service to communities she has served. She has received UN Peace Keeping Medal for her services.

Ajit Tiwana lives in Ottawa with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Ajit Tiwana engages in fitness activities, teaches yoga & meditation, continuing education, reading about the history of other cultures, and travelling extensively with her family. She is actively involved in numerous community organizations. Throughout her career, Ajit Tiwana has maintained high standards of professional conduct and ethics.
